Disaster recovery

Recover from a disaster that affects a IBM® Cloud Pak for Network Automation deployment.

The terms primary cluster and recovery cluster are used in this documentation, with the following definitions:

Primary cluster

The cluster where IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation is installed. To be able to recover from a disaster, a backup of the primary cluster must exist.

Recovery cluster

The new cluster that is created for recovering IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation data. When the recovery is complete, this cluster can become a new primary cluster.
