Extended Update Support (EUS) for IBM Cloud Pak foundational services

IBM Cloud Pak foundational services version 3.6 is an EUS release that offers extended support that follows the OpenShift Container Platform version 4.6 EUS model. The extended support is available to Cloud Paks adopting the EUS policy. Changes are limited to security vulnerability and critical fixes. For new features, Cloud Paks must adopt the IBM Cloud Pak foundational services continuous delivery release stream.

Note: Do not install EUS and non-EUS IBM Cloud Pak solutions on the same OpenShift Container Platform cluster.

Unsupported services

Logging	No	The IBM Cloud Pak foundational services logging service is deprecated in version 3.6 and will be removed in a future release. The OpenShift Container Platform offers a logging service that can be used as a replacement solution.
Monitoring	No	The IBM Cloud Pak foundational services monitoring service is deprecated in version 3.6 and will be removed in a future release. The OpenShift Container Platform offers an application monitoring service in OpenShift Container Platform version 4.6 that can be used as a replacement monitoring solution.
Metering	No	The IBM Cloud Pak foundational services metering service is deprecated in version 3.6. The service will be removed and replaced by a Red Hat Marketplace Metering service in a future release.
