Incorrect or missing text description for configurable parameters of Transaction Tracking
Problem
Transaction code /n/ibmmon/itm_config with tab SAP Transaction Tracking is used to maintain configurable parameters for Transaction Tracking that is used to monitor GUI and RFC transactions for SAP system. However, for SAP Systems with
logged in languages other than EN that is English, user may not able to see the correct text descriptions for these configurable parameters for Transaction Tracking using /n/ibmmon/itm_config with tab SAP Transaction Tracking.
The table shows the expected Text Descriptions vs actual Text Descriptions:

Note: Title of the screen in EN such as SAP Transaction Tracking and Service Name and User Details sub-screen will not be visible for SAP Systems with logged in languages other than EN.
Solution
You can maintain Text Description as per logged in language or as per language choice for configurable parameters for Transaction Tracking using Transaction code SE63.
Steps to maintain Text Description for the configurable parameters:
- Go to Transaction Code SE63, click on the tab Short Texts
- Click on Search icon and enter the value as REPT and click on Find
- Double click on REPT Text Elements (Meta)
- Enter the object name as
/IBMMON/ITM_TRAN_TRACKING. Select the appropriate language for translation for example Source Language as enUS and Target Language as jaJP - Click on Edit and enter the appropriate text for the parameter value as per the language choice, then click on Save
