UA plug-in for OpenShift metrics

The metrics for UA plug-in for OpenShift resource types collect data for monitoring with IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management. Every UA plug-in for OpenShift resource type defines a set of dimensions and metrics. The descriptions provide such information as data type, dimension key, and metric unit.

Resource Openshift Router

Bytes In Per Second

• The incoming bytes per second.
• The type is double.
• The unit is Mb.

Bytes Out Per Second

• The outgoing bytes per second.

• The unit is Mb.

CPU Used Percentage (%)

• User and system CPU used percentage of the router.
• The type is double.
• The unit is percent.

Memory Used (MB)

• Used resident memory of the router.
• The type is double.
• The unit is MB.

Memory Used Percentage (%)

• The resident memory used percentage of the router.
• The type is double.
• The unit is percent.

Number of Sessions Per Second

• Number of sessions per second over last elapsed second.
• The type is int.
• The unit is count.

Dimensions

It lists the description and type information of the dimensions available for the resource.

Cluster Name

• Cluster Name.
• The type is string.

Host

• Host.

Namespace

• Namespace.
• The type is string.

Openshift UID

• Openshift UID.
