Deleting a category

You can delete a category from the library.

About the task

The "Cluster Lifecycle Services" is preloaded for you with IBM Multicloud Manager services and you cannot delete it.

Procedure

To remove an empty category, follow these steps:

1. In the navigation bar, click Library > Services. The Manage service library is displayed.
2. Select the category.
3. Hover over your selection, then click the minus icon. A message is displayed asking you to confirm the delete operation. If any of the services use the category, then you cannot delete it. Move the services of this category to another category and then remove it.
4. Click Remove in the confirmation message. After the category is successfully removed from the library, a message is displayed.
5. Click Close.
