Reports and alerts parameters

You can configure reporting and alerting by setting system configuration parameters.

Reports parameters

This section configures the way Operations Dashboard handles reports.

Table 1. Reports parameters

Parameter	Description
Enable emails SMTP	Allow sending reports results via SMTP
Enable emails SMTP-WS	Allow invoking a Web Service to process reports results
Fields to ignore in Elasticsearch response	Comma-separated list of fields to exclude from the Elasticsearch query results of reports.
Write additional output file to a custom mount point	Enables Operations Dashboard to additionally save the reports results files in a custom mount point defined by the administrator

Alerts parameters

This section configures the way Operations Dashboard handles alerts.

Parameter	Description
Syslog destination server host name	An IP address or FQDN of the Syslog server.
Syslog destination server port	Syslog server port.
Syslog severity	The severity that will be set to Syslog records sent by Operations Dashboard.

Enable emails SMTP-WS	Allow invoking a Web Service to process alerts results
Fields to ignore in Elasticsearch response	Comma-separated list of fields to exclude from the Elasticsearch query results of alerts.
