Using the CommonService custom resource
The IBM Cloud Pak foundational services Operator creates the CommonService custom resource in the ibm-common-services namespace. The custom resource has the hardware profile configuration that you can set before you install Cloud Pak foundational services. You can also use the custom resource to configure Cloud Pak foundational services.
Using the OperandConfig
You can use the OperandConfig or the CommonService custom resource to configure Cloud Pak foundational services.
Installing Cloud Pak foundational services in a custom namespace
You can install Cloud Pak foundational services in a namespace of your choice using a ConfigMap to define the installation details. This must be done before installing Cloud Pak foundational services.
