Operating environment
IBM Cloud Pak® for Integration requires a supported operating environment for deployment.
The following describes the supported operating environment for IBM Cloud Pak for Integration release 2021.1:
Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform version 4.6.8 and above, and 4.7.x
IBM Cloud Pak foundational services version 3.7.2 and above, up to (but not including) version 4
Linux 64-bit (x86_64) systems
Multi-zone and single-zone deployments, where appropriate storage providers are available to support that deployment model
Included environments
Cloud Pak for Integration runs on any OpenShift environment. This includes but is not limited to:
A cluster deployed manually using Installer Provisioned Infrastructure or User Provisioned Infrastructure. See Setting up your Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform cluster in the Getting Started with IBM Cloud Paks documentation.
For installations on AWS, see Supported options on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for specific environment details.

A managed cluster from a cloud provider, including:
Azure Red Hat OpenShift, see Supported options on Microsoft Azure for specific environment details.
Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Cloud, see Supported options on IBM Cloud for specific environment details.
Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS, see Supported options on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for specific environment details. The level of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform provided must meet the minimum requirement for the version of IBM Cloud Pak for Integration you are installing.
Monitoring in IBM Cloud Pak for Integration relies on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform monitoring. The Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform monitoring must be configured to enable monitoring of user-defined projects. Excluded environments
IBM Cloud Pak for Integration is not available in other environments, such as Docker or open-source Kubernetes distributions.
