Upgrading capabilities and runtimes
Capabilities and runtimes in IBM Cloud Pak for Integration can be upgraded either in the Platform Navigator UI, or directly in OpenShift Container Platform.
To upgrade capabilities and runtimes in the Platform Navigator UI:
Navigate to the home page of the Platform Navigator operator.
On the home page, open the navigation menu.
- Click either Administration > Integration capabilities or Administration > Integration runtimes. Find the capability or runtime that you would like to upgrade to a new version, and open the overflow menu by clicking the three-dot icon at the end of the row.Note: If you plan to use the transaction tracing and troubleshooting capability (Operations Dashboard), you must upgrade it before upgrading the other capabilities and runtimes.
Click
Upgrade.Select the new version you would like to upgrade to and click Change version.
In most cases you will be asked to select a new license when upgrading to a new version. In that case, select the license, click Accept, then click Change version.
