Logging
When you are planning your installation of IBM Cloud Pak® for Integration, consider the logging options for both the Red Hat OpenShift cluster and the Cloud Pak for Integration components. Options include:
Ephemeral logs
OpenShift internal log store using Loki
Forwarding logs to an external log store
Using the OpenShift Logging UI Plugin of the Cluster Observability operator to visualise the logs
Using the Platform UI to filter and access tailored views of the Logging UI Plugin plugin
For an overview of logging in Cloud Pak for Integration, including how to use the above options, see Enabling and using logging.
If you are planning to use the internal log store or log forwarding, consider the following requirements:
Resources for Loki. For more information, see Loki deployment sizing in the OpenShift documentation.
Access to a supported object store for Loki. For example, AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure, Swift, Minio, or OpenShift Data Foundation.
For more information about OpenShift logging in general, see Logging in the OpenShift documentation.
