Container images
IBM Cloud Pak for Integration is a Kubernetes-native product. The container images for Cloud Pak for Integration are available from online container registries. If your Red Hat OpenShift cluster has access to the internet, the registries can be used for production deployment.

Workload placement for instances
Each instance type in IBM Cloud Pak for Integration has its own method for placing pods on nodes. For considerations related to placing pods on nodes in Cloud Pak for Integration as a whole, see Workload placement.
Security Context Constraints
All instances in IBM Cloud Pak for Integration run in the default restricted Security Context Constraint (SCC) that comes with OpenShift, except for High-speed transfer server, which requires an additional privilege.
