IBM Cloud Pak for Data Version 5.4.0
A new version of Execution Engine for Hadoop was released in June 2026.
This release includes the following changes:
- Updates
- The following updates were introduced in this release:
- Execution Engine for Apache Hadoop is now compatible with Spark 3.5, and with Cloudera 7.3.1 SP1, SP2, and SP3.
- Execution Engine for Apache Hadoop is upgraded to Java 17. You must install and configure Java 17 across all nodes.
