IBM Cloud Pak for Data Version 5.4.0
A new version of Decision Optimization was released in June 2026.
This release includes the following changes:
- New features
-
This release of Decision Optimization includes the following features:
- Compare and visualize scenario differences in a Decision Optimization experiment
-
You can now compare and visualize differences and similarities between two scenarios in a Decision Optimization experiment. By comparing scenarios, you can better understand how different model formulations, data, and parameters impact your optimization results.
For more information, see Comparing scenarios in a Decision Optimization experiment
- Customer-reported issues fixed in this release
- For a list of customer-reported issues that were fixed in this release, see the Fix List for IBM Cloud Pak for Data on the IBM Support website.
- Deprecated features
- The following features were deprecated in this release:
- Decision Optimization runtime version do_20.1 is deprecated
-
The
do_20.1runtime, which is based on CPLEX 20.1, is now deprecated, and will soon be removed. This runtime is now deprecated, and will soon be removed. When you deploy Decision Optimization models, use thedo_22.1runtime that is based on CPLEX 22.1 as the software specification. You can update existing deployments with either the REST API or the UI.For more information about updating the software specification, see Managing assets that refer to discontinued software specifications
