Adding custom facts to a factsheet

Define custom facts from the Governance console and display them in factsheets in AI use cases.

Custom facts allow you to tailor governance data you collect in AI use cases for the needs of your organization. For example, some companies have a standard set of details they want to accompany a use case or model. In addition to defining custom facts, you can optionally assign a position number to control the order in which facts display in a factsheet.

Defining a custom fact

Follow these steps to define a custom fact for a use case or a model.

  1. Open the Governance console and click gear icon > Solution configuration > Object types.
  2. Select Use Case.
  3. In the Field groups section, click MRG-UserFact-ModelUseCase to add a custom fact to a use case, or click MRG-UserFact-Model to add a custom fact to a model. The existing custom facts are displayed.
  4. Create or add the field that contains the custom fact. You can use fields with the integer or string data types.
  5. (Optional) In the definition for the fact, assign a position number by using the format @,number> in the description field. For example, if you enter @1 in the description, the field displays first in the factsheet.
