Project collaborator roles and permissions

When you add a collaborator to a project, you specify the actions that the user can do by assigning a role.

These roles provide permissions for projects:

  • Viewer: View the project.
  • Editor: Control project assets.
  • Admin: Control project assets, collaborators, and settings.
  • Permanent Admin: Control project assets, collaborators, and settings. Add and remove other Permanent Admins.
Note:

If you have Manage projects permission, you become a Permanent Admin automatically after you create a project or when you join a project by clicking Join as Permanent Admin.

The following table lists the allowed actions for each role in a project:
