Getting started with the Cloud Pak for Data experience

Logging in to Cloud Pak for Data

Your administrator provides the URL to the Cloud Pak for Data web console and your log in credentials.

After you log in, you can set your preferences for the web console, check your permissions, and perform other tasks. See Setting up your console and first steps.

Start working

To start working with or governing data, choose one of these paths:

• Choose a getting started path that includes videos and tutorials for multiple levels of expertise:
  • Quick start tutorials: Learn how to perform a specific data preparation, data analysis, or data governance task.
  • Use case tutorials: Try out a data fabric use case.
• Create a project to work with your data and preferred tools. See Creating a project and Choosing a tool.
• Try out an Industry Accelerator sample project or business glossary to solve a specific business problem.
• Explore the tasks for your role on the Roadmap.
