ESG dashboards do not display

The dashboards for the OpenPages Risk Management for ESG solution do not load and an error message is displayed.

Symptoms

When you open the ESG Compliance Dashboard or the Objective Dashboard, you get the following message: 

There was a problem generating the report. Please try again. Contact your administrator if the problem persists.

Causes

This is a known issue with the ESG dashboards.

Environment

This issue applies when you use Cognos Analytics with OpenPages.

Resolving the problem

  1. Log in to OpenPages.
  2. Click Primary menu icon > Analytics.
  3. In Cognos Analytics, click Primary menu icon > Content.
  4. Click Team Content.
  5. Navigate to the following folder <OPENPAGES_INSTANCE_NAME> / OpenPages Solutions Reports / ESG Reporting.
  6. Click the ESG Compliance Dashboard.
  7. Re-link the reporting package:
    1. Click Edit.
    2. Open the Sources pane.
    3. Next to a data source, click MoreMore icon, then click Relink.
    4. Select <OPENPAGES_INSTANCE_NAME> / OpenPages Packages / ESG Reporting.
    5. Save the dashboard.

  8. Repeat these steps for the Objective Dashboard.
