Exploring groups in IBM Match 360

View details about the groups that a record is a member of by searching for the record and then navigating to the Groups tab of the master data workspace.

5.1.3 or later This capability is available beginning in Cloud Pak for Data 5.1.3.

5.1.3 In Cloud Pak for Data 5.1.3, you can only define groups by importing them from your pre-existing IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Advanced Edition deployment. If you do not have an InfoSphere MDM instance with groups defined, then you cannot work with IBM Match 360 groups at this time.

To see the groups that a selected record is a member of:

1. From the Master data navigation menu, click Search to open the master data search page.
2. Search for the record that you want to work with, then click the View in workspace icon to select it for further exploration in the workspace tab.
3. In the workspace for the record, select the Groups tab to see a list of groups that this record is a member of.
4. Click the name of a group to open it and see its attributes and membership.
5. Click the Members tab to view a list of all the members of the group.
