Restriction
The Data Virtualization Manager for z/OS connection discovers virtual tables, virtual views, and COBOL copybooks in a system Z environment that map to underlying file structures, such as IMS, VSAM, Sequential files, and other mainframe sources. IBM Knowledge Catalog cannot create a virtual asset using this connection. Virtual assets can be created on Cloud Pak for Data by using the Data Virtualization service to combine other non-Z data assets with those discovered by the Data Virtualization Manager for z/OS connection.
