Restoring data from a MongoDB backup
You can perform backup and restore procedures for MongoDB instances after configuring Ops Manager to enable backups.
Before you begin
- You must have configured and enabled backups for your instance. See Configuring backup with the MongoDB Ops Manager for details.
- Access the MongoDB Ops Manager, which you need for the restore procedure. See Administering with MongoDB Ops Manager for details.
Procedure
To restore data from a MongoDB instance:
- Navigate to the Continuous Backups page of the MongoDB Ops Manager.
- Click on the MongoDB instance to restore.
- Click Restore from the Options drop-down list.
- Choose the project and cluster to restore to and click
