Connecting Watson Machine Learning Accelerator to Watson Machine Learning

Upgrade to IBM Software Hub Version 5.1 before IBM Cloud Pak for Data Version 4.8 reaches end of support. For more information, see Upgrading from IBM Cloud Pak for Data Version 4.8 to IBM Software Hub Version 5.1.

After deploying both the Watson Machine Learning service and the Watson Machine Learning Accelerator service, the two services are automatically connected and share training resources.

In previous releases, the WML CASE package was used for connecting the Watson Machine Learning service with the Watson Machine Learning Accelerator service. The WML CASE packages are no longer supported.

In Cloud Pak for Data Version 4.8 and later, if you install Watson Machine Learning Accelerator after Watson Machine Learning, you must run the following command to restart related deployments:

oc rollout restart deployment wmltraining wmltrainingorchestrator portal-main portal-ml-dl portal-projects
