Modify stage: fast path

This section specifies the minimum steps to take to get a Modify stage functioning.

About this task

To use a Modify stage:

Double-click the stage and in the stage editor, click the Stage tab. In the Properties section, supply the Modify specification.
Ensure you have specified the metadata for the input and output columns.
