Changing required node settings (Upgrading from Version 3.5 to Version 4.6)
Some services that run on IBM Cloud Pak® for Data require specific settings on the nodes in
the cluster. To ensure that the cluster has the required settings for these services, an operating
system administrator with root
privileges must review and adjust the settings on
the appropriate nodes in the cluster.
- Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform Version 3.11
- If you upgraded from Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Version 3.11, you must reapply these settings to your cluster.
- Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Version 4.5
- If you upgraded from Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Version 4.5, verify that the appropriate settings are already applied to your cluster.
- Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Version 4.6
- If you upgraded from Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Version 4.6, verify that the appropriate settings are already applied to your cluster.
- Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Version 4.8
- If you are running Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Version 4.8, verify that the appropriate settings are already applied to your cluster.
