A default admin user is created by Cloud Pak for Data to be used to configure access, such as
connecting with LDAP, configuring single sign-on, and creating users and groups. Admin users can perform administrative tasks on an OpenPages® instance, such as
scaling the instance and adding or removing other users.
If you are using an LDAP server for user management, you can further secure your Cloud Pak for Data system by disabling the default admin user.
For more information, see Disabling the default admin user.
Note: If you want a user to be an OpenPages super administrator, create the user in
Cloud Pak for Data. 4.6.04.6.14.6.2 For these Cloud Pak for Data versions, you must wait until the synchronization
job runs, then you can go into the OpenPages
instance and set the user's Super Administrator property to
True. 4.6.3 or later
After creating the user, you can go immediately into the OpenPages instance and set the user's Super
Administrator property to True.

What to do next
Because users log in through Cloud Pak for Data, you must
provide the users with the URL, user name, and password they need to access it. As an administrator,
you can set up a custom route for your users to be able to log in. For more information, see Customizing and securing the
route to the platform.
