Monitoring incidents

About this task

As data is collected by the agent, the DMC evaluates each new incoming data point against the alert definitions in the alert configuration. Any data point that meets an alerting condition triggers an alerting incident.

You can view list of alerting incidents occurred on the database instance. These incidents have status whether they are acknowledged by the user or not. You can acknowledge one or more incidents.

Procedure

To monitor alerting incidents of the database:

  1. Access the console.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Monitor > Incidents.

  3. To acknowledge an alerting incident:
    • Select one or more incidents from the list.

    • Click on Acknowledge option from blue toolbar(will be displayed after selection).
  4. To delete an alerting incident:
    • Select one or more incidents from the list.
    • Click on Deleteoption from blue toolbar(will be displayed after selection).
    • Confirmation alert will appear. Select Delete option to confirm.
