Upgrading shared persistent storage (Upgrading from Version 3.5 to Version 4.6)
If you are running an unsupported version of Red Hat® OpenShift® Data Foundation, IBM® Storage Scale Container Native, or Portworx, you must upgrade your storage before you upgrade to IBM Cloud Pak® for Data Version 4.6.

- A cluster administrator or storage administrator must upgrade the persistent storage on the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform cluster.
- When do you need to complete this task?
- If you are running an unsupported version of Red Hat
OpenShift Data Foundation, IBM Storage Scale
Container Native, or Portworx, you must complete this task before you
upgrade IBM Cloud Pak for Data.
