Recovering Cloud Pak for Data with IBM Storage Fusion

Use IBM® Storage Fusion to recover a Cloud Pak for Data deployment from a disaster.

To recover Cloud Pak for Data, complete the following tasks.

Preparing the target cluster for recovering Cloud Pak for Data with IBM Storage Fusion
Prepare the target cluster that you want to use to recover Cloud Pak for Data from a disaster.
Updating node configurations
The backup and restore process does not back up and restore node configurations. If node settings in the source cluster were adjusted for a service, you must make the same adjustments in the target cluster before you restore Cloud Pak for Data.
Restoring a Cloud Pak for Data online backup to a different cluster with IBM Storage Fusion
If the source cluster is lost, use IBM Storage Fusion to restore a Cloud Pak for Data online backup to a different cluster.
Resuming backups on the new cluster (Day 2)
After a full restore of the IBM Storage Fusion project, Cloud Pak for Data operators, and the Cloud Pak for Data instance, you can resume scheduled backups on the new cluster.
