Services in the catalog
The IBM® Cloud Pak for Data web client includes a catalog of services that you can use to extend the functionality of Cloud Pak for Data.
Accessing the catalog
To access the list of services that you can install on the Cloud Pak for Data platform, from the navigation menu, select .
You can click on the service that you want to learn more about.
Each service description includes links to the documentation for installing and using the service. However, only an administrator can install services.
Tip: Some services are not listed in the catalog; you can find more information about
these services in Services outside the catalog.
What services are installed?
If a service is already installed, it is marked as either Available or Enabled:
- Available
- The service is installed, but an administrator must deploy an instance of the service before you can use it.
- Enabled
- The service is installed and ready to use. Depending on the service, you might need to be given explicit access to the service before you can use it.
If the service that you want to use is not installed, click Deploy to see
the instructions for installing the service.
Remember: Only an administrator can install
services.
