Upgrading from 24.0.0 to 26.0.0

Upgrade your Cloud Pak for Business Automation from 24.0.0 to 26.0.0.

Before you begin

Review and understand the following before you start the upgrade process.
  • Your current Cloud Pak for Business Automation deployment version must be 24.0.0-IF009 or later to upgrade directly to 26.0.0-GA or 26.0.0-IF001 or later.
  • To prevent any connection problems during the upgrade, make sure that the passwords that you use, for databases and LDAP, are not about to expire and refresh them if they are. The LDAP bind secret "ldap-bind-secret" is set in the lc_bind_secret parameter in the following ldap_configuration section.

  • If you included FileNet® Content Manager in your deployment and the Content Platform Engine application server uses LDAP instead of SCIM as the directory configuration, you must change the bind user credentials in the FileNet domain before you change the credentials in the directory server.   • If you included FileNet Content Manager in your deployment and the object stores contains large number of documents, then you need to follow the steps in Best Practice: Upgrading to Content Platform Engine V5.5.9 or higher External link opens a new window or tab before you upgrade your Cloud Pak for Business Automation deployment.
