Displaying legends in charts

You can control how legends are displayed from the Visualization tab when editing a chart. Display options determine whether a legend is shown and how it is positioned and formatted, depending on the chart you’re editing.

Procedure

You can configure how the legend is displayed for chart types that support legends, such as bar and pie charts.

  1. Open a chart in edit mode.
  2. Go to the Visualization tab.
  3. In the Legend section:
    • Enable or disable Display legend.
    • Choose the legend position (Top, Bottom, Left, or Right).
    • Select the legend shape (Circle or Square).
    • Optionally disable Display title to hide a legend title.
    Note: The legend options that are available depend on the selected chart type.
