Installing and configuring the Case event emitter manually

You can install, upgrade, and uninstall your Case event emitter application manually by running successive commands.

Preparing the Case event emitter application for deployment
To prepare the Case event emitter for deployment to WebSphere® Application Server, you unpack the WAR file, you customize the configuration file, and you repackage the WAR file.
Deploying the Case event emitter application
After the Case event emitter application is configured and repackaged, you deploy it manually to your WebSphere Application Server instance for IBM® Case Manager.
Updating the Case event emitter configuration
When the CaseEventEmitter.war file needs to be updated or upgraded, either because you change configuration parameter values or a new product version is available, you must repackage it with the JSON configuration file.
