Navigator dashboard

The Content Navigator dashboard provides a comprehensive view of user activities and document interactions within the Content Navigator. This dashboard serves as a monitoring tool for tracking user authentication, feature usage, and document retrieval, offering insights that enable data-driven decision-making.

The dashboard is structured into three primary sections:

Authentication Data: Displays user login and logout activity.
Feature Usage: Tracks interactions with various Content Navigator features.
Document Retrieval: Logs document views and downloads.

Each section includes customizable visualizations, such as bar graphs or pie charts, which update in real time as user actions occur in Content Navigator.

Authentication Data

This section provides a detailed record of user authentication events. Users can view the number of logins and logouts, user IDs, and action timestamps, with data segmented by user type (e.g., standard user or administrator). Additional columns, such as host desktop ID, client IP, and event status, can be added for deeper insights.

The primary visualization is a bar graph, illustrating the number of logins by user type. Each bar can be hovered over to reveal further details, such as the user ID and specific login timestamps. The dashboard updates in real time with each new login or logout event, enabling instant monitoring of authentication activity.

Feature Usage Data

The feature usage section tracks user interactions with different Content Navigator features. It records each feature clicked, along with the timestamp and feature name. A pie chart displays the proportion of clicks each feature receives, providing an at-a-glance view of feature popularity.

This pie chart adjusts dynamically as features are accessed. Hovering over a pie slice reveals detailed usage metrics, including feature names and exact counts. If a feature has not been used, it will not appear in the visualization. Users can expand this chart to full screen for a more detailed analysis.

Document Retrieval Data

Retrieval Document Data logs track when documents are viewed or downloaded, capturing the user ID and action type for each instance. This section's bar chart displays cumulative counts for each action (viewed or downloaded) per user. This data helps determine document access trends, as well as patterns of document engagement by various users.

Real-time updates provide immediate feedback on user actions, with changes in document view and download counts visible as soon as these actions occur.

Customization and Real-Time Monitoring

The Content Navigator Dashboard offers flexibility, allowing users to customize visualizations to match specific business needs. Whether observing authentication trends, analyzing feature usage, or tracking document retrieval patterns, the dashboard’s live updates enable immediate insight into Content Navigator interactions.
