Migrating solutions

To migrate a solution, you export the solution assets that were defined in Case Builder and optionally other solution application artifacts from the development environment.

Exporting solution assets
Use Business Automation Studio or Case administration client to migrate Business Automation Workflow solutions.
Exporting other FileNet P8 assets
If your solution includes assets that were created with other IBM® FileNet® P8 tools, you cannot use the Workflow Center or Case administration client to migrate the assets.
Exporting other IBM and external assets
If your solution includes assets that were created with other IBM products or tools, or with non-IBM products or tools, you cannot use the Business Automation Studio or Case administration client to migrate the assets.
Importing workflow assets
To import a solution that was defined in Case Builder, you can use the Case administration client.
Installing solution assets
Install a case solution project from a Business Automation Studio to a Workflow Server runtime environment.
