• Search results can be displayed in a document summary format, which includes a brief text summary that is extracted from result documents.

• Searches can be created and stored for easy execution of common queries.
• Search templates can be created to provide a simple user interface for entering search criteria.
• Shortcuts to searches can be saved so that the searches are easy to find later.

• A search can be run as a background process. The results of a background search are saved as Content Platform Engine objects, which can be examined when necessary. Running a query as part of a background search has the following advantages over a conventional search:
