Redeploying FileNet Content Manager from the OCP console

Uninstall and reinstall the CP4BA deployment of the Content pattern by using the OCP console.

Procedure

  1. Log in to your OCP or ROKS cluster.
  2. Click Administration > Namespaces, and click the namespace that you used to install the Cloud Pak deployment.
  3. Click Operators > Installed Operators > IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) Content pattern, and then click the CP4BA deployment tab.

The name of the deployment is shown in the list of Content clusters. The default name is Content.

  4. To the right of the Content cluster name, click the overflow menu icon ellipsis > Delete Content cluster.

The action deletes the resources and the instance is no longer seen in the Content cluster list.

Wait for all the pods associated with the FileNet® Content Manager deployment in the CP4BA namespace to be terminated.

What to do next

Complete the steps for reinitializing FileNet Content Manager. For more information, see Reinitializing FileNet Content Manager.

Repeat the previous steps to redeploy an instance with the Content pattern. Wait for the Operator to reconcile and to complete the requested actions in the ecm_initialization section of the CR if you chose that option. You can also wait for the deployment to complete, and then manually create the FileNet P8 domain by using the steps that you previously followed.
