After you upgrade your deployment of IBM Business Automation Navigator, you must verify that your upgraded
application works with the rest of your container environment.
Procedure
To verify your upgrade:
- Determine the service URL for the Business Automation Navigator container
deployment.
- In the OpenShift Console, locate the Business
Automation Navigator route. An example is
'cpd'-route, when CP4BA capabilities like Automation Document Processing,
Business Automation Application, Business Automation Workflow, and others are
installed.
- Click Launch HTTPS to open the URL that displays the hostname
that represents the service.
- Use the URL value for the subsequent status checking steps.
- Verify that you can access IBM Business Automation Navigator at the following URL:
https://hostname/icn/navigator
.
- Verify that the Content Platform Engine server information is correct:
- Log in to the Navigator admin desktop:
https://hostname/icn/navigator/?desktop=admin
- From the navigation list, do one of the following instructions.
- Click Connections. Then select the Repositories
tab. Or,
- Click Repositories.
- Select a repository to verify that the communication with the Content Platform Engine
services are functional. On the General tab, click
Connect.
- If the test fails, change the Server URL value to update to the
new cpe service value, typically
https://icp4adeploy-cpe-stateless-svc.<cp4ba
namespace>.svc:9443/wsi/FNCEWS40MTOM
, for the upgraded
deployment.
