Preparing to install Cloud Pak for Business Automation foundation
All capabilities contain one or more components from the Cloud Pak foundation pattern. You must check to see which components are included with your capability and prepare for them before you create a CP4BA deployment.
About this task
In the following diagram, you can see the foundation pattern and the components it includes.
As part of the deployment process, you supply numerous values for the configuration parameters that define your environment. The preparatory steps provide details that help you collect your input for configuration and deployment.
What to do next
The next task to complete depends on the capabilities that you selected for your deployment. You must prepare all of these capabilities and any dependencies. Jump to the capability in the table of contents or from the parent topic.
