Authorization roles

Authorization roles are used to define privileges for users and groups for actions that can be applied to entities including users, groups, tasks, and processes.
The following list includes common authorization roles:
Business Automation Workflow administrators
Users with wide-ranging privileges for actions on Business Automation Workflow entities across all process applications including users, groups, teams, tasks, and processes.
Process application administrators
Users who can perform actions on instances or tasks throughout a specific process application.
Team managers
Users who can perform actions on tasks and processes that are accessible to the members of the managed team.
Task team
Users who can work on a task defined within a process including its completion.
Manager team of task team
Users who can work on and reassign tasks assigned to members of the managed team.
Task owner
The user who is assigned to the task meaning that the user can work on the task and complete it.
Task collaborator
A user whom was invited by the task owner to collaborate on the task, that is, to provide relevant data but not complete the task.
Task experts team
Users who are eligible for being invited as collaborators on a task.
Process starters team
Users who can start new instances of a specific process definition.
Instance owners team
Users who can administer instances of a specific process definition.
