Creating a Content Collector for SAP Applications instance
The Content Collector for SAP Applications (ICCSAP) pod starts the ICCSAP daemon which is
used to configure and start the ICCSAP server.
Procedure
- Login to the IBM Content Navigator desktop that is configured with the Content Collector for SAP Applications plug-in.
- Click IBM Content Collector for SAP Applications Configuration Feature from the menu.
- Click New Instance Configuration.
- Enter a name for the new instance in the Description field.
- Enter the name of your ICCSAP service in the Host
field. Entering the service name should populate a lot of the configuration. Perform the rest of the configuration as per the information given in Configuring Collector Server (on-premises).
- Click Save.
- Click Start to start the ICCSAP instance. Specify the passwords for the SSL keystore, SSL truststore, and all the users in the instance configuration.
Results
- All the passwords are stored in a password file. The Collector Server instance uses them when it is started the next time. Note that the master key is automatically generated in this process if it does not exist. The paths that you specified in the instance configuration are created too if they do not exist.
- The server configuration profile is stored on the system where Collector Server is installed.
