Stopping the system software stack
Use the apstop command to stop the system software stack.
About this task
The apstop command stops the management software stack, that is both, the platform manager and the system application. You can also stop these components separately.
Procedure
Depending on the component that you want to stop, issue one of the following
commands:
- Use apstop to stop both, platform manager and the system application.
- Use apstop -p to stop only the platform manager.
- Use apstop -a to stop the system application leaving platform manager ACTIVE.
