Installing IBM® Cloud Pak for Data services

Compared to a standalone Cloud Pak for Data product, Cloud Pak for Data System comes preconfigured with OpenShift cluster, OpenShift Data Platform, and Cloud Pak for Data base software. You can install additional services within the Cloud Pak for Data platform.

The service installation process depends on the Cloud Pak for Data version installed on your system. Follow the instructions that apply to your version. For version dependencies table, see Upgrading Cloud Pak for Data System.

Note: Db2® Warehouse MPP deployment is not supported on Cloud Pak for Data System.
