Administering event management
Perform the following tasks to administer event management.

- Administering users User access to all of the Event Manager interfaces is provided based on default user group settings. You can also optionally create new users and groups. For more information, see Administering users in the Netcool Operations Insight documentation.
- Administering the Events page in Event Manager As a senior operator or an administrator, you need to perform administration tasks as part of system maintenance and to ensure the correct operation of the Events page. - Managing runbooks and automations Event Manager provides the capability to create and manage runbooks, which your operations teams can implement to solve common operational problems. Runbooks provide full and partial automation of commons operations procedures, increasing the efficiency of your operations processes.
