Data acquisition

Each probe uses a different method to acquire data. Which method the probe uses depends on the target system from which it receives data.

The probe acquires data by connecting to the Tandem device and receiving data from an EMS session. The probe connects to the Tandem device on a specified port and communicates with it using chatin and chatout procedures.
