Properties and command line options

You use properties to specify how the probe interacts with the device. You can override the default values by using the properties file or the command line options.

The following table describes the properties and command line options specific to this probe. For more information about generic Netcool/OMNIbus properties and command line options, see the IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus Probe and Gateway Guide.

Use this property to specify the IP address or domain name of the Itron OWCE EMS HTTP host.

The default is "".

HttpPort integer

-httpport integer

Use this property to specify the port through which to connect to the Itron OWCE EMS HTTP host.

The default is 0.

LocalHttpHost string

-localhttphost string

Use this property to specify the IP address or domain name of the local host where the probe is installed.

The default is "".

LocalHttpPort integer

-localhttpport integer

Use this property to specify the local port on which the probe listens for events.

The default is 80.

MeterGroups string

-metergroups string

Use this property to specify one or more Itron smart meter groups for which the probe will receive events.

To specify multiple groups, separate them using colons, in the following format:

GroupA Meters:GroupB Meters:GroupN Meters

The default is UnknownGroup1:UnknownGroup2.

SubscriptionEndpoint string

-subscriptionendpoint string

Use this property to specify the Itron OWCE EMS web service endpoint to which the probe subscribes to receive events.

The default is /ami/2009/08/subscriptions.

Note: Changing this property to an incompatible web service may cause the probe to not function.
