Deploying a starterpack and integration templates
You can deploy the predefined templates in the Starterpacks and Integration Library to your cloud environment including VMware, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, and AWS.
Deploying Starterpack and Integration Templates Overview
The templates that are pre-loaded during installation, can be deployed using the steps in the Deploying a template. If the template is not loaded you can import the template using the instructions in Importing a template and then deploy them. For an example on how to deploy a starter library template, see Deploying a Single Virtual Machine template.
Starterpack library also contains number of templates to create kubernetes cluster and import them as managed cluster. For information on how to deploy these templates read the following topics
- Deploying Kubernetes cluster
- Deploying OpenShift Container Platform
- Importing Kubernetes target cluster to hub cluster
The integration template ServiceNow CMDB Configuration Template is the only integration template that is pre-loaded. For information on how to deploy this integration template, see Integrating with ServiceNow CMDB.
Validate the deployment
After you deploy the template, you can validate the deployment by checking the logs displayed in the Log file
panel of the deployed instance. You can also check the Output variables
tab of the deployed template and
confirm you see the desired output.
