Creating custom action categories

Create a category to organize your custom actions in the library.

Procedure

To create a category, follow these steps:

  1. In the navigation bar, click Automate Infrastructure > Library. Click the Custom Action tab.
  2. In the Custom Action categories pane, click Add category.
  3. Enter a name for the category and click Add. When the category is created, a confirmation message displays.

Alternatively, when you create a service, select the Add a category item in the Category drop-down to create a new category. The naming convention for category name is as follows:

  • Must start with a letter
  • May contain alphanumeric, underscore, hyphen, and space characters
