The Resource management page
You can view your applications (services) and details about them, such as their constituent resource groups and resources, on the Resource management page. If you have many applications, resource groups or resources in your topology database, you can use sophisticated searches or define search filters to find them.
Lists of applications, resource groups and resources are displayed on separate tabs.

Remember: You can configure the UI to label your groups-of-groups collection of resources as either 'applications' or 'services'. For more information, see the following tip on changing terminology.
Before you begin
In order to view applications and their constituent elements, you must have obtained resource data, created resource groups, and defined applications, as documented in the following sections:
About resource management
After you log into IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps console, you open the Resource management page from the main navigation menu.
Lists of applications, resource groups and resources are displayed on separate tabs. applications and resource groups are divided into 'All results' and 'Favorites' sections. You can display your favorite applications and resource groups either as cards or in a table; however, resources are always displayed in a table, and cannot be designated as favorites.
If many applications, resource groups or resources are listed, you can use the 'search' or 'filter' functions to identify specific ones, which you can then edit or view as topologies. For instance, you can define filter conditions to display the resources that have a specific tag applied to them. For more information on searching, see Resource management: Searching and filtering.
From here, you can define new applications, view your data at a historical point in time, and access the topology configuration, user preferences and template builder functionalities.
If the status for an application, resource group or resource is available, an icon that depicts the status severity level and the number of events that caused the severity are displayed. The severity of a status ranges from clear
(white tick on a green square) to critical
(white cross on a red circle).
