Working with the Parameters tab

From the Parameters tab, you can add new parameters, edit existing parameters, and delete existing parameters.

The tab has Input Parameters, Activity Parameters, and Output Parameters sections. Input and Output Parameters are not defined by any template, but are user-defined parameters to simplify the experience of creating a service instance. They are global variables limited within the scope of this service. You can define them for mapping back values in the activity parameter. Activity Parameters provide the data to deploy a particular template.
