Validating the Installation Manager repository

Use the Installation Manager command line and list the contents of the Managed services Installation Manager repository to validate the Installation Manager repository.

1. Change directory to Installation Manager toolkit directory:

   cd /opt/ibm/docker/software-repo/var/swRepo/private/IMTemp/imtoolkit/tools
   

2. List the available packages that are available:

   ./imcl listAvailablePackages -repositories /opt/ibm/docker/software-repo/var/swRepo/private/IMRepo/
   

If the repository is setup properly, you will see output that should contain the WebSphere Application Server offerings that were built using the IBM Package Utility. Here is an example output of a Installation Manager repository that contains the Installation Manager 1.8.6.1, JDK 8 and WebSphere fix pack 9.0.0.4.
