Displaying alert topology
If the resource on which an alert occurred can be located in the network topology system, then a large dot is presented in the alert's Topology column. Double-click the large dot
to display a topology map for this alert, centered on the resource on which the alert occurred.
Procedure

Double-click the large dot
in the Topology column for the alert of interest.
A side panel containing multiple information sections opens on the right side of the table. The Topology section is open and provides the following information:

Resource
Name of the resource on which the alert of interest occurred.

Begin time
Date and time when the topology for this resource was last updated.

Observed time
Date and time when the alert of interest was observed on this resource.

Topology pane
Shows a one hop topology map for this alert, centered on the resource on which the alert occurred.

To investigate the topology further, click the More information link, which is located at the end of the side panel's Topology section.
This action opens the Topology viewer, which displays the same topology map, with the full topology display experience. For more information on how to use the Topology viewer to explore topology, see the related link at the bottom of this topic.
